We’ve fed neighbors from a mini-fridge. Now we’re building a movement.
It started with a seed and a door unlocked by kindness.
Our half-acre backyard fed people not for fame, but for love.
And now… we need to grow this into something that lasts.

What’s Next for Soul Train

1. Acquire the Land
We will secure farmland large enough to grow abundant crops, provide housing, and operate year-round programs.

2. Build Crisis Housing & Training Facilities
We’ll construct safe, dignified housing for men and women in crisis or recovery a place where healing meets harvest. Training rooms and community spaces will support personal growth and skill-building.

3. Equip the Farm
From a tractor to tools, irrigation to storage, we’ll purchase the equipment needed to farm efficiently and sustainably. We’ll acquire livestock to further our mission of creating an abundant food source for individuals and families in a food crisis.

4. Build the Greenhouse
A greenhouse will allow us to grow produce year-round, ensuring steady work for residents and a consistent supply of fresh food for the community.

5. Fill the House with Purpose
Residents will work the land and livestock, learning not only how to grow food but also how to grow hope restoring confidence and self-worth through service, even when they feel they have nothing to give they will be giving away what we create on our Soul Farm.

6. Restore Lives Beyond the Soil
We’ll offer hands on training in financial literacy, credit repair, and skills for building a stable future. This is more than recovery or reintegration housing it’s a restoration of life.

This will be a platform for lasting change where those who truly seek transformation can rebuild not just stability, but peace, purpose, and the knowledge to live a fulfilled life.

We’re raising $750,000 to:

  • Buy farmland

  • Purchase farming equipment

  • Build living and training spaces

  • Launch Soul Farm Crisis Housing where healing meets harvest

Who Are We?

We are a husband and wife team who have been married for over 13 years brought together by faith, service, and a shared calling to help others rebuild their lives.

We met in sobriety living in Tulsa, Oklahoma I was the leader of a men’s house, and she was the leader of a women’s house. We met at the church leading the program, fell in love, and blended our family her bringing her son Trey, and me bringing mine Ethen. We married and eventually settled into our small homestead in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

But my story begins long before that.
I grew up in poverty, raised by a single mother in Section 8 housing, living on food stamps. Weekly trips to the food bank were part of survival. I still remember the joy of bringing home that food knowing we’d eat well that day. Those moments planted something in me that would one day become this mission.

My wife didn’t grow up in the same poverty I did, but she’s walked with me through every memory, every scar, and every moment of rebuilding. She felt the weight of my story and chose to carry it with me turning it into a shared purpose.

Our mission has been inspired even further by my Uncle Donnie. We currently care for him full-time as he navigates dementia. His life is a testimony to the power of sobriety he has attended Alcoholics Anonymous for over 43 years. As a young man, alcohol nearly took his life, but through determination and the grace of God, he chose a different path. His faithfulness to his recovery and his willingness to help others in the program have left an imprint on our hearts and our ministry.

Together, we founded Soul Train Ministries a mission to restore lives when all hope seems lost. We know how to re-spark that light. And we do it the way God intended: by working the land, feeding the hungry, and offering a path to healing for those ready to rebuild after hardship.

This isn’t charity. This is restoration.
This is what we were made for.
